I just got a new battery installed yesterday, and the car would start fine and ran fine. I parked at KFC today and after a while when i tried to start it wont start. Just produced clicking sound, without any movement in the engine.

The battery didnt seem drained out at all. We even tried jumpstart, which otherwise with my old batter worked well. But, dont know why with the new battery it wont start.

I left the car there, and called AAA. The AAA guy came and said let me try, and when he tried, it started normally. He did nothing. Now I came home switched off the car, and tried to start again, and again it wont start. Dont know whats going on? I hope its nothing expensive or not a major problem? Can someone please help.

Thanks
Jigar

Tell me if I'm crazy, but I swear that I've heard that it's better for your tires to be just a little under-inflated in the winter, because it provides more traction on ice and snow. Is this true?

I am building a 1970 Dodge Truck given to me by my father when I was 15. Like most people I have been buusy. But things are different and I need 2 things a place to get parts. Somewhere I might possibly can order a magazine just for the years mentioned above. The years are compatible. And secondly I am looking for a good 225 Slant Six block and head thats all I need. But it seems to be that the motor is a hard find used. Junkyards near me are no go. If I could order a new block reasonable that would be good. Because a complete engine is $2500. And I cant spend that right now and rebuild the truck as well. Any help would be appreciated. Happy New Year To All.

I know I threw a rod in my 1990 honda accord, the question is how difficult is it to install an engine? Also, how much should an engine cost for this model car? Should I consider any other aftermarket engine? Open to suggestions, thanks!

whenever i take off slow my transmission shifts hard and confused. it goes from second to first and back to second. once i'm over 40-50 MPH it shifts perfectly. when i idle, it idles at 3-4 hundred RPMs or 9-12 hundred back and forth. when i accelerate hard it shifts almost perfect. could it be a sensor in my transmission or some sort of throttle sensor?

The speedometer does not work at all. I have replaced both speed sensors and the entire wiring harness, but still nothing. I have checked all fuses, and none are blown. Computer only shows error for Shift solenoid C not shifting, but this is due to the speedometer not working. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Thanks

Hi
I have a front wheel drive car, and right now there's a vibrating sound coming from the right front wheel. It only seems to happen when the car is warm and in gear. If I take it out of gear (put it in neutral, or put the clutch in) the sound stops. When the bearings were bad on the left wheel it sounded more like a low pitched rumbling sound, rather then the lighter vibrating sound I'm hearing now.. What do you think it is? Could it be bearings again - just a different bearing sound? Most importantly, is it safe to drive? I've got a new years gig that I need to drive a large distance to.

I need to sell my 95 Acura Integra (it's my secondary car) for college money for this upcoming semester. It's one owner, my grandma's car, and meticulously maintained, always serviced at Acura dealership. The motor runs strong like new, and needs nothing. The car is awesome and I don't really even want to part with it. But it has 170,000 (mostly highway) miles. The book value is $3,000 but I'm asking $2,700. It's on craigslist and if I list the mileage, I don't get any replys. If I leave the mileage out, I get calls asking the mileage then they hang up saying "no thanks" and won't even come look at it. How can I get these idiots (potential buyers) to realize it's worth? What can I say? I need the extra money for school
