The Escape Hybrid has a dual control heat/air cond system. Whe in a/c mode, press the ECON button. Question: what about using the ECON with the heater?

In a 2008 Hybrid Escape, The ECON button is used to improve fuel economy in the A/C because the "gas" engine is needed to power the AC compressor.
The A/C compressor is not needed for the heater.

Nothing happens in Heat. Only AC.
