Hello,
I just got a female golden retriever/lab mix puppy. I fly planes and I was wondering what a godd aviation related name would be for her. Thanks!

Spitfire (a handful)
Tempest
Vixen
Hustler (only kidding unless she is Fast and High maintenance)
Boomerang (retriever?)
Nugget (female naval aviator on first tour)
Sara(toga) (Fighting Sara)
Lex(ington) (Lady Lex)
WASP (Women's Air Service Pilots)
Virgin (Airlines)
CAVU ( Man no one would get that if not in aviation!)
What you probably should name her "Come here girl, now, wait don't... what do you have in your mouth.... no get over here...whatagood girl!!! give me that...." kinda long for the dog tag, though

Turbo, as in turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, or even just the turbo on a recip.

Jetstream.

Corriolis.

Genny, (short for starter-generator,)

Avvy, for avgas.

Mags, for magnetos.

Ailey, for ailerons.

Ellie, for elevators.

Cannibal, (Stephen Coonts, The Cannibal Queen.)

Best of luck, and have lots of fun. My own dog is named for the 4 Abbot's ales that went into me not noticing that she wasn't the basset I wanted to adopt from the shelter.

Whatever you do, Matt, have fun.

I once knew a cat named Ortac (which is an airway waypoint point north of Jersey)

Most airway waypoints are five letter names, many of which could be good animal names.
