The speedometer does not work at all. I have replaced both speed sensors and the entire wiring harness, but still nothing. I have checked all fuses, and none are blown. Computer only shows error for Shift solenoid C not shifting, but this is due to the speedometer not working. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Thanks

It has sensors, meaning it is electronic, no cable here.

do not drive without fixing as if you sell, trade, or are in accident you will lose all resale money.

If the speed sensors ain't working, the trans. would only shift up to second gear. this is called limp in mode and turn the check engine light on. If this isn't happening, then the problem is probably in between the engine controller, to the body controller, or to the instrument panel, and could be even the speedometer itself. And the code you mentioned is not caused by the speedometer not working. The speedometer itself will not give a code or cause a problem elsewhere.

Speed sensor send sig to BCM and to PCM.

BCM sends to speedo in the dash

PCM uses for running the tranny.

PCM is saying it doesn't see the signal so it won't shift
I infer the BCM isn't seeing the signal either to run the speedo.

Power for the speed sensor comes from a power supply in the PCM. You need to see if the PCM is sending any power to the speed sensor and then t/s from there.

Would be the first bad p/s in a PCM, my scanner a Snap-On MT 2500 shows these . So may want a good shop to scan the vehicle.

Try a known good TCM (transmission-control-module), If not, replace instrument cluster assembly.
