I just bought an M35 Deucenahalf off of Ebay. The government auction site, googled, can be auctioned for pretty cheaply for trucks-if you have the ability to trailer back very heavy equipment. Check out Steel Soilder and Mil Vehl on google groups. Olive Drab is another good site with information.

Don't forget to special insurance. Regular insurance is not good enough. You will either need to get a commercial truck or antique policy because most trucks weigh too much. The M35 weighs 13,000 pounds. The five tons go up 17k pounds and require a CDL to drive.

Make sure you either get a bill of sale (for certain states) or SF97 from the government if you want to register to drive on the roads as most do not have titles.
