Hi
I have a front wheel drive car, and right now there's a vibrating sound coming from the right front wheel. It only seems to happen when the car is warm and in gear. If I take it out of gear (put it in neutral, or put the clutch in) the sound stops. When the bearings were bad on the left wheel it sounded more like a low pitched rumbling sound, rather then the lighter vibrating sound I'm hearing now.. What do you think it is? Could it be bearings again - just a different bearing sound? Most importantly, is it safe to drive? I've got a new years gig that I need to drive a large distance to.

Thanks for all your advice.. It's a '93 Hyundai Excel. I checked the oil and it was 3/4 full so it's probably not that.. The problems I know of so far (confirmed by my mechanic) are the clutch, left ball joint (note that the sound is coming from the right) and struts.. Could any of those cause this sound?
