Honestly what is better chevy silverado or Ford F150? (for long time use)

To cut a long story short the local council have towed away my car as some curtain twitcher has reported it as "abandoned"
Now my car was not abandoned it was taxed and MOT'd and its been having work done to it by my mechanic who incidently has been moving it up and down the road whilst working on it, it hasn't been parked illegally its taxed till next month and mot'd till march just not insured surly the council had no right in doing this? We are going to appeal this but has anyone got any suggestions?

I've heard reports that fuel costs $2 per gallon in the US and they complain about that. In the UK it costs $9-10 a gallon.

I have a '97 limited edition ford explorer with a sohc v6, is there any ways to make it sound a little meaner without getting a new exhaust system? If not, what is the cheapest exhaust i can buy? ( im only 16 and dont have too much money to throw around )

The burnt wreckage of Air France Flight 358 at Toronto Pearson International AirportAs of 15 November 2007, the A340 has not had a fatal incident to date; it has suffered 4 hull-loss accidents and one further accident of yet unknown outcome:

20 January 1994 - Air France, an A340-211 (F-GNIA) was lost to fire during servicing at Charles de Gaulle International Airport.
24 July 2001 - SriLankan Airlines, an A340-300 (4R-ADD) was destroyed by an explosive charge. Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam launched a suicide attack at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
2 August 2005 - Air France Flight 358, all 297 passengers and 12 crew survived a crash and fire after their A340-300 (F-GLZQ) overshot runway 24L at Toronto Pearson International Airport in a thunderstorm. The aircraft slid into Etobicoke Creek and broke up. Forty-three were injured, 1 seriously, some passengers jumped nearly 20 ft (6 m) to the ground.
November 9, 2007 - An Iberia Airlines A340-600 was badly damaged after sliding off the runway at Ecuador’s Mariscal Sucre International Airport. The landing gear collapsed and two engines were dislodged. All 333 passengers and crew were evacuated via inflatable slides, but no serious injuries were reported.
15 November 2007 - An A340-600 was damaged during ground engine testing at Airbus' facilities at Toulouse Blagnac International Airport. Six days prior to the airplane's planned delivery to Etihad Airways, the plane pushed itself up a sloped concrete wall, suffering severe fuselage damage. The cockpit section was severed and fell to the ground from a height of about 15m atop the wall. Five people on board were injured, three of them seriously.[17]. The aircraft was written off.[18]

i had an oil change appointment this a.m., and ended up with a new battery. they told me when they tested it it wasn't even reading, and was surprised it started this morning. when i got home & told my boyfriend, he thinks i got ripped off. now i am wondering.

i was in an accident and my car hit the median, flipped twice in midair, landed on its wheels and me and the passenger were fine besides a scratch on his knee, we were wearing seatbelts. Is this predictable becuase we wore seat belts or are we just lucky..? the car was totaled, it was cuz we sliped on ice- swerved, which caused us to hit the median, flip over a couple times in midair...is it expected that me n the passesnger wouldnt realy be hurt? or is it shocking...

I recently bought a 1998 fireblade and after running it fine for two weeks i left it out in the freezing cold for a couple of nights, after which it refused to start. The engine was cranking slowly so i assumed it was a simple flat battery. When the guy from the AA came over he charged it up and then kept the voltmeter on the battery while i revved the engine in order to check that it was charging properly. It showed the voltage increasing to over 20 volts at 6000rpm. the guy said that it shouldnt exceed 14 volts. Is this a problem with my rectifier or with my generator? or is it neither or both? How can i tell the difference? any help appreciated.

My driveway is on a slight hill. I think my tires must stink even though they're new and all weather. I could not really get up the driveway. I had to really try about 3 times, really revving it, i smelled burning rubber. I'm actaully kind of pissed, because there are quite a few other people living in my 3 family house. Anyways...is this reeally dangerous for the car to force it up a snowy driveway. OTher alternative is leave it on the st and get a ticket.

I don't know, maybe it's me.
But there is nothing better sounding than an 8 cylinder vehicle with a nice deep sound to it.
I have to laugh every time I hear or see a 4 cylinder and it sounds like a moped!
Actually our lawn mower sounds much better than these itty bitty cars.
I guess I am just a muscle car girl. :-)

I drive a Nissan Primera 2002, it recently had brakes changed and it squeaks everytime i brake. Its so embarrasing, i hate it when i drive and stop, then people turn their heads looking for an old ford. Please help- its sooo annoying,!!
