Unless the car is turbo or supercharged there is no way to increase the PSI, if you have a turbo charger or supercharger then you can install a boost gauge on the turbo/supercharger setup to allow you to control how much boost you want to run. If you want to increase the horse power you can do a motor swap (which can be expensive). Or you can do little modifications here and there, like a performance chip, cold air intake, and performance exhaust. If you dont have a super or turbo charger then you can have one of those installed and gain A LOT of horsepower.
Everything depends on money, if you have a lot then your car has major potential. If you dont have much money your best bet will be to do the chip, intake and exhaust.

By inceasing the psi, it will increase the hp, if the TI means turbo injected... you can do this by installing a boost regulator or fish tank bleeder valve in the vacuum control hose to the waste gate..
