Had the brake pads changed with what type? Nissan Pads and rotor resurfacing and new hardwear kits most of the time run out the shop where I work with no squeek. Always resurface the rotors and the technician should know the proper bedding in procedure. Some Nissan Models are harder to quiet than others. Primera/Maxima are not noisy brake cars. I hate to tell you this. Getting a budget brake job done has now cost as much as getting it done right the first time.

Most people think putting new brake pads on is doing a brake job because that is what wears out, and that is what is supposed to wear out. One problem of squealing begins with new pads rubbing against the polished surface of the disc rotors which I assume were not changed. This is like rubbing 2 pieces of glass together in about 100 miles. Surfacing the rotors or replacing the rotors, sanding the glaze off of the now used pads will allow both the pads and rotors to seat together as you drive.
There are numerous causes of squeals, but that is the most common. Make sure any pad and caliper hardware and retainers are in good condition.

See whom ever did brake job or get the inspected elsewhere.
It is common practice for independent repair facilities to remove brake hardware and not put it back on. These are the shims ect. It turns out these parts need to be there with appropriate nissan lube to dampen vibrations when braking that cause squeaks

You need to brake the pads in. But, if the car stops fine, and you just don't like the noise, you can buy a brake pad gel or spray ,and that will help with the noise. You can get that at like an Autozone.
