Well, its a 94 Buick Roadmaster and after he told us it was in perfect shape, new brakes, undercoated and driven well.
We found out that everything is going on it and to fix it would cost us almost as much as its worth.
He refuses to take it back and now calls himself a privite dealer, we also traded in our old car for it and he wonèt give that back.
Were up @#$% creek without a paddle and no money to fix it or get anything new.
What do you guys reccomend we do

Sorry...this may be long!!
I ran over a chunk of wood in my 06 VW Bug, i dented the skid plate (which has already been hammered back out) and I dented my Transmission pan. I took my car to 5 different places to get opinions. Every shop said I need my transmission pan either reshaped (by again, hammered back out) and a new gasket. So I took my car to a shop Monday evening, the shop promised my car to be ready by 1:00pm on Tuesday. I called the shop Tuesday 3 different times to check on my car. They said 2 times it will absolutely be ready by the time I get off work. I called again at 3:00 and the guy told me my car was ready, they were putting the skid plate back on and I would be ready to go. So at 5pm, after work my dad called to make sure they would still be there to pick my carup and they tell him they couldn't figure out how to put the transmission fluid back into my car, said they would be calling the VW Dealer in the morning (Wed. morning) and find out how to put it in..........

I have just recently purchased Ranger 23 sailboat. The boat was somewhat neglected by the previous owners. I am trying to give it a facelift. The plastic (vinyl) covering is peeling off the walls inside the cabin. It will need to be replaced. Does anyone know what kind of material is used inside the cabin to cover the walls? It looks like self adhesive plastic liner of some sort. Thanx.

How do you determine what it is? Is there a way of testing the sensors? Would reading the codes tell you? Could water getting in the electrical connections to the speed sensors cause this. It seems to have started after my son got an under carriage wash last week.

My car might be a goner. It's 97 Grand Prix with a 155,000 miles on it.

When i was driving down the road, I noticed the car at times made a high pitch screeching noise. I pulled it into my garage and noticed a burning smell. Now the car won't move at all and makes and still makes a high pitch screeching noise.

Hello! My 1987 Nissan Maxima's speedometer is misbehaving. It does not always read the correct speed. It will sit at zero, slowly flutter up near the speed I am going and then slowly go back down to zero. When I accelerate it falls straight back down to zero. Sometimes letting off of the gass peddle prompts it to spring back up, sometimes not. When it sits down at zero it makes this angry click click click noise. The transmission seems to have a harder time shifting when the speedometer is misbehaving. The problem is slowly getting worse.

I am buying a new car by the end of this month. I test drove both 2008 models last night. I have been driving an older Toyota Corolla for 7 years. I have seen the comparison charts and all that and they are nearly the same in all departments.

I just want to know from people's personal experiences which I should go with and WHY? I am not considering any other cars.

BTW, it will be either the Corolla CE model or the Civic DX model. I am trying to keep it at about 16k or less.
