I would like to trade my car in on a new one that I have found at my dealer. Only prob is that I lost the title for mine. I know that I can send to harrisburg for a new one, but that will take weeks. Can I still trade it in, and can the dealer obtain one so he can sell it?

My car is worth 1800 less than what it's worth, it's also having problems with its electrical system, I don't have the money to put into it, and I really don't have the money to buy a new car, but some people recommend I trade it in, and take the little extra car payment and deal with it. What should I do?

I am either going to get a new 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 with a hemi, or a new 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 with the 5.9 liter Cummins Diesel. They are both automatics, with the SLT trim package. The diesel is one that still has the old 5.9 liter cummins in it, not the new 6.7. I commute 45 miles 7 days a week to work and school, mostly highway. I often pull either an 8 foot trailer and 1 atv or a 16 foot trailer with 3 ATVs. Also I do a lot of hauling around a commercial mower. Currently I have a Dodge Dakota Laramie that I bought new 1 year ago, it is a V-8 4x4, but it is just not big enough. So which one of those two would you choose from?

My car was hit while parked did a police report . Person claimed that she had insurance. However.when I contacted the ins company they said it has not been active since 4 mts ago. By her own admission; payments was never deducted from account; but thats not her fault claims that she is going to have to fight with insurance company to get them to pay. what do I do I have had this car a year paid 16,000 for car with this hugh dent its worth less than half and look bad

Seems like if I want my car back, I shouldn't get a settlement check too. My car really isn't damaged too much. I am not complaining....I get $2000 out of it and my car is easily still drivable.

I geusse I could see how one of the old wooden battleships could sink cause of all the ballast and cannon and rigging and whatnot, but wouldn't a wooden rowboat be able to stay afloat? (since it's more or less a piece of wood, just in an unusual shape!) thanks!

Have a 1999 Volvo S80 with a gearshift that gets stuck in park and can only be pulled out by really musceling it. Got a response from Somethingtotry and I checked for he recommended but there is nothing on the console. Anybody else have any ideas for me? The key, as a result is also stuck in the ignition and won't come out. In the meantime, I am just leaving the car in neutral (with the parking brake on) when I park it and I took the remote off the key and lock and unlock it that way. It's getting to be a pain

This may sound odd, but I would like to find the louvers for the front headlights of a 91 Camaro, like I said. At first I thought they were even conceived for the 3rd Generation Camaro; but I ran into a picture that proved me wrong; indeed.

2004 toyota 4runner v6 4wd
I changed my spark plugs, 4 last week (no problem driving several hours) and the last 2 today, driver's side rear 2, and an hour later the check engine light and VSC came on and it ran rough. I saw in some previous answers the VSC light will come on just because the check engine light is on.
I checked my wires and clicked the connector onto the coil tower a little better and the engine runs smooth again but the lights are still on. I only ran about 5 minute since then.


I also have a little hose from the back of the block to the a small square housing on the underside of the intake"Upper Deck" that I removed to get to the plugs. It slipped right off with the squeeze ring clamp still connected. I would call this rotted. I taped around the tube to make it thicker until I can get a new hose.

So should the light go off by itself if the loose electrical connector was the cause and is now fixed?
And where is the OBD connector?

i have a gmc 1/2 ton 350 automatic trans, floor shift for four wheel. I cant get four wheel drive to engage i have changed the actuator, indicator light bulbs, transfer case selector switch, four wheel indicator switch, and was told by shop that linkage was good(that is if they actually checked it). pleas any one with any other ideas shoot me your thoughts

I own a 1999 Toyota Camry. When I took it in for routine maintenance, the service manager informed me that there was uneven wear on my brake pads. My driver's side brake has 60% padding left, the passenger's side 15% or so. The service manager suggested that I replace the hardware, calipers, and hoses, along with the pads on both sides. That makes for a pretty expensive brake job. Is it really necessary to do all that to LIKELY do away with uneven wear? Is there a less expensive option? I wanted to ask you Y!A mechanics before accepting the service. I always exercise caution at shops to help ensure that I don't get screwed. Thanks for your input.

If a car equipped with airbags is in an accident that definately should have sety off the airbags, but they don't deploy, how can I find out if it was a mistake of the car company or if somebody prior to use owning the car had them disabled? The car went over an embankment into a tree and is literally totalled, but not 1 airbag deployed.
