my friend has been out for supper with me when he received a phone call from his girlfriend being afraid at home, she heard voices and people walking, he drove home asap at a very high speed, a stand alone camera caught him doing 160km/h in a 80km/h zone (100mph in 50mph). It was in the highway at midnight, there was nobody else on the road!!! What can he expect to be fined and do you think he's licensed will be suspended or worst get some jail time??? It all happened in South Africa

My ex-fiance purchased a car for me which he is still making payments on...the car was in my name although he was the one making the payments. He is also listed on the contract with the car dealership but not on any of the DMV information. I have since moved out of the state. The insurance is in my name but that is the easy part. I was wondering how do I get my name off the registration. I know he is still driving the car everyday now that I am gone and the plates and everything are registered under my license. What steps do I need to take. I can't go back to the state right now to take care of it.

Anytime the truck is running it makes this horrific screaching noise and as you press the gas it gets louder. I have replaced a few things on this truck. The first noise I heard was this humming & everyone thought it was the power steering pump, but it still did it. Then after a few days the idler pulley broke & the belt came off, I replaced the pulley and it was ok...now the noise is coming back but is a screaching sound now. Anyone have any ideas? I am being told now it could be the serpentine belt but it doesn't look worn at all. Please help!!! Oh, by the way in case you haven't noticed I am a female and don't know much about cars other than putting gas in & I don't have the money to take it to a shop. Thanks!!!

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger with 205,000 miles and the check engine light came on with the code for “EGR Valve - Insufficient Flow”. Anyway, I replaced the EGR valve for $80.00 and the light is still on. The truck runs a hell of a lot smoother now with a little more power to boot. Why is the light still on? What else could be causing the “insufficient flow”?

I am lucky enough to have a pretty large collection of motorcycles and have actually only ever sold about three and kept the fifteen others that have come into my life. If times got really bad then I guess I could sell them all with the exception of my 1981 Triumph T140ES 750 Bonneville, which I bought when I was an apprentice and is even in my will being mentioned that it is not to be sold or passed outside the family.
However are there any bikes for any reason that you have sold that you wished you had kept and if so why. If not you then any friends with a similar case. I worked with a guy once who sold his original BSA Gold Star for a hundred quid, it would be worth a fortune now.
I do wish I had kept my first ever powered two wheeler which was Velo Solex that ended up in the skip. I had so much fun on that as a kid riding up and down my parents drive for hour after hour.

It only happens while I'm stopped at a light or sign and I've only noticed it within minutes of coming off the interstate, which I travel each day at interstate speed. If I press on the gas while the oil light is on, it goes off. The car has enough oil. In fact, it is registering higher than it usually does on the dip stick.
