used transmission?

i got a transmission that got damage.no need for it but some one told me shops will buy it for a couple of bucks.it is for a 91 toyota corolla.is it true.if so,where in the city of longbeach,wilmington,compton,or bellflower in california.thx

check local scrap dealers

Just call any transmission shop. They'll take it, but they won't pick it up. If tranny shop won't take it, then call scrap metal dealer.
