I'm going to replace a heat resistant gasket in my 1977 Atwood furnace in the heating tunnel is the anythin

Is there any thing speacial that I need to know about this type of furnace.

Look for cracks in the burn chamber , cracks can allow CO (carbon monoxide) into the house
