I'm a bit worried that the chap taking my daughter's car for its MOT asked for the registration documents as he said it could get refused without it. Can that be right please?

I have replaced all the air condition parts put the conditioner.
IF i take off the drive belt the noise goes away.

i've got some 1 inch exhaust pipes roted out the run from the catalytic converters back into the engine. The motor is a for V8 302.. the car is an 89 towncar cartier.. and autozone or carmax told me to go to a shop.. FORK that im a do it my selfer... I save thousands by doing in my self, and i would like to find those parts. thanks for any help.

I was wondering about this for a brief second the other day when I was stopped at a stop sign. The rule that says we should give right of way to the driver on the right doesn't make sense in this situation. Do you have an answer? Can you think of other ways driving rules/laws don't make sense in specific situations?

I have a 2006 Artic Cat 500 LE 4x4 automatic and a winch.
This Cat makes me mad! I have already replaced the battery in it once. Was fine for like two weeks and now the bugger won't start. So I charged the battery all day and guess what happened?......... it started :) So I played around for awhile. I decided to keep the battery disconnected when not in use. Its been disconnected for a week. I connected it today and it starts right up. Excellent! So what do you think is pulling charge from the battery when its not in use? Its a pain to continue to disconnect and reconnect just to be sure it will start. I'm not getting another battery cause its obvious its not the problem. I also have a 2001 Honda Recon. That baby starts up everytime. Same battery, same original parts and that four wheeler gets run into the ground. Its Ole reliable! If it wasn't for my family being a Artic Cat dealer, I would have never bought the darn thing and would have gotten another honda.

my Z is a 1999 with 52,000 miles. The battery recently needed to be replaced. The code does not bring my stereo system back to life even though the bmw dealership says it is the correct code. they don't have an answer why it isn't working. any suggestions?

Assuming the motorcycle is in working condition, will the engine still run after I started it and then disconnect one of the battery cables?

My thinking is that once it is up and running (optimal RPM) the alternator should take over and provides electricity to where is needed and also charging the battery. Why removing the battery connector causing it to stop?

So I'm about to change my own oil for the first time, and bought all the items I think I need. But I had a thought, the drain pan is more wide than it is tall, won't the used oil spill out when I take it to a service station? Also, should I put a plastic bag inside it so I won't have to clean it out later? Any help/advice? I'm hoping this goes as clean as possible. Thanks.

Just as the question states: I really like the look of these sport cars, and can easily afford one, but people keep telling me that I am "too big" for a car like that. Imagine someone with Jack Black's or Jimmy Kimmell's build in a car like that. What do you think? (PS- It'll probably be a black one with black rims).

It's obvious American automakers are finally getting the idea of the subcompact cars, a market the foriegn automakers have dominated for years, and the American companies are finally warming up to hybrid vehicles. However the hybrid technology for American Auto makers is far inferior to the japanese counterparts. Chevrolet now has a hybrid version of the Malibu, but the hybrid Malibu only gets 2 mpg better fuel economy then the non hybrid powered Malibu. What is the problem with American Auto Manufacturers? Do they not get it? The Market is demanding better fuel economy in there vehicles and Ford, Chrysler and GM are ignoring us.

My car cutting out and seems too "lugg" down at times when taking off or after slowing down then speeding back up, it idles rough as well. I recently had my alternator, plugs/plug wires and fuel filter changed. But, it still is running very rough. Also, it almost dies when I put it in reverse. What could be wrong? My check engine light is blinking off and on. It is a 1999 Altima.

Hey Guys,

I just had my 2 10" CVR Kickers installed b y an authorzied dealer today with a ZX400.1 Kicker Amplifer. I noticed as I got home that my right subwoofer hits harder than my left one. I just bought the subwoofers brand new from an ebay authorized dealer new and in the package.

I want to equally have the same bass on the left subwoofer matching my right, without burning up the amp or hurting the subwoofer.

Anyone have any ideas?

I deal with alot of Honda motorcycles and ATV--and even some of the associate that have been here longer (say 20 years) don't even know the meaning of "VTX" or "VT"750 "DCA" (VT750DCA) Shadow Spirit. Is there a website I can get the meanings of these acronyms dealing with all types of Honda Motorcycles and ATV's? I tried Honda themselves but have yet to gain a response..
