I have a 2006 Artic Cat 500 LE 4x4 automatic and a winch.
This Cat makes me mad! I have already replaced the battery in it once. Was fine for like two weeks and now the bugger won't start. So I charged the battery all day and guess what happened?......... it started :) So I played around for awhile. I decided to keep the battery disconnected when not in use. Its been disconnected for a week. I connected it today and it starts right up. Excellent! So what do you think is pulling charge from the battery when its not in use? Its a pain to continue to disconnect and reconnect just to be sure it will start. I'm not getting another battery cause its obvious its not the problem. I also have a 2001 Honda Recon. That baby starts up everytime. Same battery, same original parts and that four wheeler gets run into the ground. Its Ole reliable! If it wasn't for my family being a Artic Cat dealer, I would have never bought the darn thing and would have gotten another honda.

do you have a 12 v test light?
remove the neg battery terminal,
hook up the alligator clip to the neg battery terminal wire, and stick the probe of the test light into the neg post of the battery.
if the light lights up bright that means you have a circuit draining the battery.
keep the test light hooked up at the same time disconnect the wiring that you may think that's causing ur drain.
the first thing I would check would be the starter button, or the kill switch, or the starter

ARE YOU LEAVING THE KEY ON AND TURNING IT OFF WITH THE KILL SWITCH? MY FRIEND DID THIS AND ALTHOUGH HIS BATTERY DID'NT DIE, HIS HOUR METER KEPT RUNNING. HUNDREDS OFF HOURS ON A QUAD WITH 2 HUNDRED MILES. COULD BE THE PROBLEM, HONDA MIGHT NOT HAVE DIGITAL SPEEDO. DON'T KNOW. FAMILY HAS ARCTIC CAT DEALERSHIP, CAN'T THEY HELP.

Follow Tom's advice.
Disconnect the winch's relay first when checking stuff - it may be the problem.
