I'm still in high school but i want to be an airline pilot. i don't know weather to go to a college/university or to go in to air force or another military section.

Actually, mewok is not correct. The military use various types of aircraft including cargo haulers that are just like airliners. You are not limited to flying super fast airplanes or shooting at things.
Having said that, the best way to get a flight job with a major airline is to go through the military. All military pilots are college graduates, so the best way is to go to a college that offers ROTC. You can major in any subject, but a science or engineering degree will come in really handy.
The first thing to think of now is to make really good grades and stay out of trouble (drugs, tattoos, etc.) It's also a good idea to go see your USAF or Navy recruiter (Air National Guard and Coast Guard are also okay, but openings are rare.) to talk about how to plan for your goals. You can go today.
If you don't want to go the military route, then attend one of the colleges or universities that specialize in aviation, and get a career degree. You will spend 5-10 years after college flying charters and instructing to build the experience you need to apply for an airline job, but you will eventually reach your goal if you are determined.

Get your ratings at local airports. Go to college. Flight-instruct during the summers.

well, the air force is going to teach you how to fly a SUPERFAST plane, so if you're going more for passenger plane (say, suncountry airlines type of thing), i'd look for a flight school that doesn't involve shooting stuff. google it. google has all the answers!

Serve your country and get paid for training. Check out the ROTC.
