I moved from Texas to Washington earlier this year, since I moved, my mother received in the mail, a letter from the TX DOT stating that I would not be allowed to renew my drivers license, a mixture of tickets and an accident, or maybe a ticket I have not taken care of? I'm not sure exactly what. Either way, I need to get a DL in Washington for obvious reasons, but I am curious if my denial in Texas will affect my ability to get a DL in WA. Thanks in advance.

On Halloween my stroller and purse was stolen from my yard. The car key is going to be $350 to replace alone stroller $550 re-keying home locks $120 towing car to dealer for re-keying $100+/- two cell phones $400(homeowners will not cover) I filed a police report already and am wondering if my auto will cover the auto issues since it was not stolen from my car. I am afraid to ask them because if the crooks come back and steal my car... since they have the key, maybe the insurance co. would not cover the replacement of the car since I am not able to spend $2000 to replace all of the locks on the car HELP!!!

I understand how we come up with the 3 letter codes for airports in the US.....for example:

I work at Orlando International Airport which is MCO....because this field used to belong to McCoy Air Force Base years ago.....and ORL was already taken at the executive airfield here.

But what about Canada? How did Pearson airport in Toronto come up with YYZ?

Thanks,

Primo

Heat riser is operated via rod connected to vacuum pulloff, vacuum is supplied from EFE (early fuel evaoration) ported vacuum switch on intake manifold near water neck. As it sits now, I need vacuum immediately after startup to close heat riser to direct heat across my intake to aid warmup in cold weather. Problem is majority of vacuum switches are normally closed and do not open until warm, this really has me scratching my head.

Hi, I have a 2000 Renault Megane 1.4L. Recently brake fluid has been leaking from the top of the container where you top up the brake fluid. I have not topped up the level recently (ages ago in fact!!)
Quite surprisingly, the brake fluid level has gone up as well, without any top up.

I'm looking to purchase a Corolla. The overwhelming thought is "Toyota's are untouchable regarding reliability".

I'm curious, though. Can they be that good? Is there really that much separation between Toyota and their competitors? Has someone, somewhere had a Toyota they would call a "lemon"?

I own an 2001 Toyota Highlander, 4WD, Limited. It has problem for the engine oil since 2005 and it's getting worst. Since 2005, after I drove a long highway trip (about 4.5 hrs, one way, and only once a year), there will be engine oil linkage afterward. It's not much, and it went away afterward. But I just went to a trip and drove 4.5 hrs on highway. Then the oil light went on. So I went to a gas station and check the oil, it's almost gone (also that I had oil change in the dealership two day before the trip)!! I added three bottle of engine oil. And when I headed back (another 4.5 hrs drive on highway), another three bottle of engine oil again!! We called Toyata and they insist that they is no recall on the engine for Highlander. I don't think a normal car that have only 50,000KM should have this problem! Any suggestion? And just see anyone that own a Highlander has the same problem.
