i have a 99 grand cherokee with the inline 6 4.0 and was woundering wether a transmission flush would hurt it or help it, it kinda jerks the car back when it shifts but it goes right into gear all other fluids are fine i dont know what to do could it be a motor mount or transmission mount thanks in advance

It will help the shop or dealer that does it make money. I would not flush a transmission no matter what the problem. Guessing is not an answer. It sounds like your tranny is a little slow shifting, thus the jerk. I would attempt to find an honest shop to check it out.

Some transmission flushes will damage the seals.
I would suggest a fluid change and a new filter.
Make sure to get an honest shop to do the work.

make sure battery is good [and tight] and car is tuned up... either one can make computer act weird...comp controles shifting

What is the milage, is it an auto, and do you tow with it?
