You could have a plugged heater core or your damper door is out of adjustment within the box, many times when i open the box you will probably find pens and toys inside and it will restrict the use of the damper door.
good luck

The heater core is like a radiator and can clog up, If both hoses are the same temp. than it sounds like that the core isn't giving off any heat to the interion of your truck. Befor I would get involved with the plenmum chamber and mixing doors, I would try to flush the heater core, this can be done with a garden hose and simpley disconnecting both heater hoses and running water through both ways, you must be careful becouse the cooling system is designed for only 13-15 psi max and your garden hose will be much higher, but this will be a lot easyer than under the dash work

Sounds like the blend door in the AC/heater duct is not closing fully allowing cool air to mix with the hot heater air. Check for a vacuum leak or bad actuator for the blend door or it's stuck in a partial open position.

the heater core is partially stopped up on it is what is causing not to give good heat ,you can flush the whole thing out real good and you,ll get really hot heat off of it,dodges have good heaters in them when their working right, that's probably all you need to do to it,good luck with it.
