it's carburated and i adjusted the timeing gave it a tune up still nothing. When it warms up it idels up and down almost shuting the car off but it still runs. When i go to the store then shut the car off it still tryies to run even with the engine shut off. I have no power like i said it does 65 in the highway with the peddal to the floor it does 0 to 60mph in like 35 seconds... Need help..

I agree with tronary its the catalytic converter with a plugged or parshally plugged cat you turn our engine into an air compressor....if you keep driveing it like that the exhaust styem will blow apart some place....burn out discharge valves....blow a head gasket.....universal cat from local parts store is about 100 bucks.......fix it

Sounds like your timing belt jumped a tooth. You have adjusted elecrical timing, but mechanical valve timing is still wrong.

I would go to a muffler shop and get the cat. converter checked. Sounds like it may be restricted.

i would guess it has a bad vacuum leak...listen for a hissing sound

tps = throttle position sensor
