On Halloween my stroller and purse was stolen from my yard. The car key is going to be $350 to replace alone stroller $550 re-keying home locks $120 towing car to dealer for re-keying $100+/- two cell phones $400(homeowners will not cover) I filed a police report already and am wondering if my auto will cover the auto issues since it was not stolen from my car. I am afraid to ask them because if the crooks come back and steal my car... since they have the key, maybe the insurance co. would not cover the replacement of the car since I am not able to spend $2000 to replace all of the locks on the car HELP!!!

Your auto insurance covers the auto only. They would not cover re-keying your car. Nor would they cover to replace your keys. If indeed it is only $350 to get a new key, wouldn't that be under your deductible anyways?

Maybe you should read your policy or ask your agent so you are more informed as to what your policy does or does not cover.

If you have COMP coverage your keys will be taken care of by your auto insurance company, less your deductible. There should be no surcharge to your policy since it is a non-fault loss not resulting from an accident, but double-check with them.
The items in your car are not covered by your auto insurance company. COMP coverage is for items permanently attached to the vehicle only (which is why the locks are covered although the vehicle itself hasn't been damaged).

Not even worth it to try with homeowners...they'll raise your rates which is beyond not worth it for such a small claim.

When you replace your cell phones, buy the extra insurance for them just in case...

Oh, and the towing may be covered under your auto policy as well...if you have roadside assistance.

Your car should be covered for theft if thats in your policy. Most car thieves can start your vehicle faster without the key than you can with it. Leaving things out on Halloween (when you are actually inviting people onto your property who you don't know) was not a great idea. Sorry, but I think you will have to pay all these bills.

That's your homeowner's insurance. If they come back and steal the car, that's car insurance. By the way, if you had AAA, that towing would have been free of charge.
