I have the manual where it tells me how to take it off and put it back, however for the adjustment part, it just says "make sure you adjust it" and that's it. It doesn't tell me how. I already took the old one out and put installed the new switch, but my brake lights still don't work. I don't want to move ahead of my self to other troubleshooting procedures without at least "adjusting" the switch.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have a 2005, I love it. I am trying to decide if I should trade in for an SL when my lease is up next month, or extend my lease and hold out for the next generation of Altima SE-Rs, but I cannot find any infomation about them. Have they stopped making them altogether?
If you have links with info regarding the Altima SE-R please include them.
Thank you!

The car i own has been garage kept since 1996, and I would like to know what would be the best way to get it back on the road. What should I check on, replace, flush, etc. I do have a knock in the engine and is the inital reason why I parked it.
And would replacing the rocker arms solve the knocking or could it be something else?

CALIFORNIA:
In January '08 I heard that is the time a new law will be passed or something about changing the legal driving age to 18. If this is true that is wrong because if the legal working age is 16 it will be difficult to get to work for some people.

when You are going to buy a car (by financing). How should you go about it? If you get the loan first, let's say from your credit union and then go to the dealer. You may bargain and get a lower price than what the loan is. Then what do you do with the excess? Let us say you bargained to $7500 and your loan is $9000. What do you do with the extra $1500. Again if you bargain with the dealer and agree on the price, it is silly to tell the sales man that you are going to get the check and you'll be back. Those who have financed cars before, how do you go about it. Step by step directions please.

I apologize, I just went down to the basement to look at the tires with my Dad and they are 215/60 16's, NOT 225/60 16's. If this makes any difference? He said they should be fine. (not saying he is a master tire tech...that is his opinion...)
