I went off roading the other week and now my engine is all brown....whats a good way to clean it up? And how about underneat on the chasis? I heard simple green..any other ideas?

The car washes usually do an underneath job, you can DIY with a spray for the engine.

Go to an auto parts store and buy an engine cleaner like Engine Brite or something like that. Follow the instructions. Make sure to clean the engine when it's cold or not warmed up all the way. You can rinse with water, but do it carefully and avoid getting the electrical wires soaked in the engine area.

Simple green or engine degreaser and hot high pressure water. Run the car just enough to warm the engine, don't wash the engine when it's hot or things can crack.

spray nine also is some thing go to use . if i was you i wash the truck off as soon as was done off roading .some mud can
actually stain the motor and frame pressure wash is the best way to go

look in the yellow pages for a place that does steam cleaning on engines....you'll never clean and engine yourself again!!

wash it off with a water at the car wash or take it your car dealer and they can wash it for you if want to spend money it. good luck.
