If it's your oil change reminder light, your owner's manual tells you how to reset it. It may be something like tapping your foot slowly on the accelerator pedal 5 times when the key is turned on. If successful, you should see the light flash and go off. If it's a computer error code and the yellow check engine light comes on, the next step is to have the codes read out at http://www.autozone.com stores or buy an Actron OBD-II code reader for your car. It can also clear the codes, but they will come back if the problem is not corrected, and even then take many "drive cycles" to erase automatically from the computer.

Sometimes disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes just the positive side it will reset, if something is wrong it might come right back on and might have to take it in and put on machine in a shop for $80 to tell what is wrong.

take it to the dealer where you got it, they will probably put it on the computer for free and then leave it up to you if you want to fix whatever it is yourself or if you want them to do it.
