my car idles like i am getting on and off of the throttle. Also my temperature reads that the car is overheated even if it has been sitting all night and i start it the next morning the temp hand goes all the way to the max. Im not sure if this is related or not. Either way. Will a new throttle position sensor fix my idle problem? Ill award the points the best answer.

I've recently started having a problem with starting my car. Over a week ago, I tried starting it up, it started but then started hesistating and it eventually died. I restarted it, & it started up no problems. Today, was the same thing but it didnt hesistate the 1st time...it started then died. I restarted, it hesistated like it was gonna die again but i gave it some gas & it then it was fine. What could be causing this problem? It has also hesistated while driving when i'd stop at a light or somthing, it acts as if its gonna die.

I got in a motorcycle accident when I had no insurance. I dented one very isolated body panel on a older volkswagen golf (90's). Now they want me to pay over 2k for the damage!!! I know it shouldn't of cost over 1k, what do I do?
The panel was above the left rear wheel between the door and the trunk.

thanx for all previous answers on my last posts. here's an update.will only start when push started, batteries good, replaced selonoid, not tip over or kickstand sensors, horn/blinkers work. not starter. could it be start switch/button? is there a way to check? thanx so much everybody out there.

to a regular carburetor and a vacuum advance distributor will i have problems with transmission shifting when computer wiring will not plug into regular carburetor when i try to start this car it always takes time to keep it running if it stays running untell it gets hot it will go ahead run i have put every senser on this + computer this car has done this sence january i have put a new fuel pump also new distributor parts-coil -coil wire ignition-module

dus any one know what other parts if any may need renewing aswell . it was the top end off my bike that i had probs with i renewed the piston and rings a new conrod kit a new barrel all gasgets and seals so thats all good now.. this is a 2 stroke bike i hope any one can help cus i dont really wont any more probs with me bike

I have a 2001 sebring and the engine trouble started out of NO where. After doing research these engines are DUDS! around 80,000 miles i have found that these cars have lots of problems, and I am 77,000.... My warrenty ended 2000 miles ago, and to REPLACE my engine its going to cost 7,000, and I owe 9,000 on it! So can I trade her in, instead of fixing her? how will this work?

I've heard the dealer makes you pay double the price of a good auto shop, but I'm not too sure about that.

I have a 2001 Saturn SC1 that is having a problem with the tork converter cylinder which is in the transmission I'm told. There are no other problems with the car. I just paid it off and do not want another car note. I am leaning towards getting the trans fixed but was told that I am going to have ongoing problems. On the flip side, I've talked to people who said they have had no problems after getting a transmission replaced. Please Help!!!
