Two questions:
Will I be able to drive a motorcycle if I never learned to drive/balance a bicycle? And how old do you have to be to drive one? I live in Mississippi.

The only similarity is that they both have two wheels and travel in the same direction on them.

Other than that there is NOTHING similar between them. Likewise, other than having a throttle and brakes, there is NOTHING similar between cars and motorcycles either.

Motorcycles take a completely new skill set to learn, and anyone that tells you they "graduated" to a big bike in a month doesn't know how to ride. Any gay chimp can twist a throttle, but it takes time and experience to ride smoothly and avoid death.

LOL! - Learning to ride a bicycle you fall
down a LOT.
It's better on the light bicycle than the
heavier motorcycle.
Besides, why ding up a nice new motorcycle?

You could...but you have a lot to learn before you jump on a bike and take off through the country. Balance is just the start of many things you need to do or learn....take a riders course to show you the basics...and they can also help you with your balance.

You need to learn to balance first!

It can be learned on a motorcycle, but it is much safer on a bicycle first.

How old? Ask the DMV.

Seriously get a bicycle and learn it first way cheaper, less damaging overall when falling.
