I live in downtown Minneapolis and am new to the area and am wondering where I should take my car to get the oil changed. I have a ford taurus so would you suggest going to a dealership or not? I prefer a place that will check everything. Thanks for your help.

Ford has now made Motorcraft synblend motor oil it's standard oil used for all oil changes and of course you get the original equipment Motorcraft Oil filter designed for your car. So for a few dollars more, I'd get to know my local Ford dealer. There's lots of jobs the dealers are competing on to get your business nowadays. With the synblend oil, ask your dealer whether you'll get extended oil drain intervals to 7500 miles and yet protect your engine better. talk to locals, many will know of of local garage the can change your oil for resonable amount, dealers are ok but tend to charge you an excessive amount.
