i changed both but battery still won't charge.. i have checked fuses and am now dumbfounded.. what could it be?? a short in electrical.. but how do i fix that??

I drive a 1990 dodge caravan
I left my headlamps on last night and when i tried to start the car this afternoon it would not start. I tried jumpstarting it but that didn't work. I've had electrical problems in the past (the car has shut off a couple times while i was driving) but those were due to blown fuses. I checked the fuses and they're all intact. Now I'm stumped. What's wrong with my car and how do i fix it?

A guy rear ended us going like 40 or 50 mph. I had to be taken to the ER to be checked out because I was pregnant. I am fine and so is my unborn baby. My question is why his insurance company called me saying they would pay my ER bills plus send me a cash settlement if I was unharmed and so was the baby. Granted I understand them payin the ER bill.

I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee zj. Gas is leaking from above the tank right where the fuel line connects to. I leave a trail of gas when i drive around. I noticed it a little while after i filled the tank. The tank may have been overfilled. Does anyone know how I could fix this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a brand new Triumph TT600, and after riding it for 15 min it becomes harder and more painful to change up and down the gears. I know lots of people will say im a wuss but its very distracting, is there a site that sells Adjustable clutch levers.

the first question is on the chevy. i have a 350 in it, with an edelbrock carb. it runs great until i floor it. it blows out my valve cover gaskets. i was told to change the ccv valve. would i find the "CCV" (crank case vent)?

the second is on the ford. my power steering suddenly stopped. the there was no noise, the pump is still turning, i think, and the fluid level is full. i have no idea what it could be and really cant afford a new pump this week!!! please help. i dont have much time and really need atleast one

Whenever I accellerate my left front wheel makes a chirping dragging sound. When I break it sounds like the noise gets louder then when I come to a stop it subsides.My mechanic alreadyh told me I need new wheel bearings, i have alredyh fixed the axel barrings on the car, so I wanted to know could the noise be fixed possible because of bad break pads or something or if I just need to go ahead and replace the axe barrings too.

So let me get this straight. I have half a tank and I put in $10. Of course it won't fill it but i put the automatic shut off thing on. So when it gets to $9.70ish it clicks off. I shouldn't continue pumping till 10? Or I can? I don't understand the whole no topping off. Is it only for when you get a full tank of gas

All other gears work fine. If I put the car in reverse & rev the enginge I get "Transmission program" error on the dash and the car goes into limp mode (locked into 3rd gear). This all happened suddenly. transmission was working fine. I backed up, drove down the street, third gear shifted a little funny, like it was slipping. after that no reverse. all other gears including third work & shift fine. what do you think could be the problem & how do I fix it?

Timing is on mark but will not pick up speed to enter Roads or Hwy. When driving straight with no hills it will pick up speed at a slow pace, but not from a dead stop. I don't know if i need a motor or what ?

Just got myself a Bayliner 192 which will be used for inland waterways and tidal work.
The mercruiser 135 fuel consumption is a little too salty for my taste at inland waterway speeds (4mph) as well as the engine having to be kept at just above idle revs for long periods, which is not a good idea.
The solution will be to fit a swim step or transom mounted 8 - 10hp outboard as a back up at sea, and for economical propulsion on the canals and rivers, only using the main engine at times when accurate manouvreing is required.
Question: will the outdrive leg have enough control authority to steer the boat from the helm, acting as a rudder when on auxiliary power?
As stated the main engine would be used for situations requiring accurate manouvres, but would it be enough to steer a course following a meandering river? Power control will be fly by shout to the missus to increase or decrease power to the outboard.

I own a 99 pathfinder 2 wheel drive with a 3.3L V-6,the front brakes lock up and skid if I press the peddle hard,even worse in the rain,very hard to control stopping,and also scary..no lights on dash are on? what is the cause of this problem...all brakes are new,it stared making a huming noise coming from the front driver side wheel when stopping,I removed it and found nothing wrong?? please help if you know why this is happening...
