Yesterday there was an unfortunate mishap with the New Mexico railrunner commuter train where it hit a car and some fatalities occurred. (This is news from Albuquerque Journal as well as the local network affiliates) BNSF freight trains also run on this line. Was wondering if the railroad police would have a role in investigating this. Would it be the BNSF police? (Just another curious question from a railroad fan trying to understand the role of the railroad police)

I bought the bike and the owner said the bike had sat for a couple of years. I was able to drive it home but it did surge on and off as the cylinders would fire and not fire. I assumed bad gas.... I filled it with good gas and drove it. When I turned the bike off I noticed a bubbling sound from inside the carbs, especially at the top end, and at the exhaust valves. I decided to clean the carbs because I believed that old gummed up gas was stuck in the cabs boiling when it was running... First off, does that sound like a reasonable assumption? My carb cleaning question is, I removed the float boal and jets but still can't get a good flow of carb cleaner up into the carbs. I don't want to have to get the carbs synchronized so I don't want to take them completely apart. I'm I missing something? Any tips? Thanks

Drinking and driving is a serious offense and shouldn't be made fun of! This PSA shows 3 scenes each with a guy behind the wheel with beer up to his chest, another shows the beer up to a guy's neck, and the other...I think you get the idea. A cop steps up to the car, sees the interior of the car filled with beer like it was a lake inside and asks, "Have you been drinking, sir?" The car door opens and all the beer gushes out like the dam just broke! That's the stupidish PSA I've ever seen! The cop can't tell by the looks & the smell that its beer? He can't tell the guy must have been drinking?

Bought a boat a while back and never noticed the size on my title said it was a 15' when the boat is actually a 18'. There are no id numbers on boat, its a 1970. Can they change the size on title if I put the id numbers on boat from title or? Not sure what avenue to take because the owner of the boat is no where to be found now. Any info will help. I reside in Florida.

How far would I have to go before having to synchronize? I plan on removing the carbs so I can get at the float bowls. Take them off and spray carb cleaner up into the carbs.

I find it sick. Today I saw a riced out Dodge pickup, with a huge spoiler, and they even put a Mexican flag on it, a huge one.

Why is it that people in cars have to wear seatbelts and people on motorcycles and buses dont have to wear one? People in cars get tickets for not wearing them and people on buses and motorcycles dont.

I have a 1993 Civic LX, I'm wondering what voltage the wires run at that come through the door to power the speakers in the door panel? I'm considering hooking up some auxillary electronics in the panel as well and want to know if I can splice into that source. It recommends using a 0.6A fuse as well, anyone know which fuse those wires go to? Or if it's more, it should be ok, correct?

I'm getting a tranny flush at the dealership on Monday. They said that they don't put in a new screen/ filter with the flush, because it's not nessesary with the flush which changes 100% of the fluid, compared to a regular tranny fluid change that only changes about a third of the fluid with new fluid. Is this true? Thanks.

Ok I have a 1/8 stereo headphone cable that had a plug on one
side break. I cut the plug with a bit of wire still attached from an old pair of head phones to splice and fit it.

Ok on the cable that I'm repairing there is a big black wire containing two separate smaller insulated wires, one red (pink), one white and there is an uninsulated wire as well totaling three wires.

On the wire and plug from the old head phones there are two separate black wires containing two wires each. In one of the black wires there is a blue coated (not insulated) wire and a uncolored uncoated wire. On the other is a red coated (not insulated) wire and a other uncolored uncoated one.

I have burned off the coatings on all these wires at the tip and am ready to connect them to my original cable but I have no idea how they are to be correctly connected to ensure that the music is stereo and that it is coming out how it is supposed to sound.
