I can not seem to nail this one down either. Maybe some one at Victoria British, The Roadster Factory, or Moss Motors might know. All that I can find is that some times the paint did not mixed right before spraying the engine so some appeared brown.

Go to www.drivewire.com and search for ROVER 1995 piston rings or just "google" rover piston rings.
Its that easy.

Any engineering firm who deals with car engines i.e. head skimming etc.
Vincents motor factors are main stockists for Rover parts too.
I get all my Rover engine parts from a firm in Chard, Somerset. If you get stuck, email me and I'll give you the details.
