Is it possible Amtrak will make travel on a passenger train as nostalgic as it used to be?

It's possible, and it should as doing so would increase ridership (like serving prepared meals and such) but again to do so requires more funding.

How nostalgic do you want it? Windows up with coal dust blowing in, hot winds and dust as well as rain seeping in through bad fitting windows. Stopping every 10 minutes at every little town.
Not sure you want it that nostalgic. Just kidding of course, but Amtrak is a wonderful way to ride today if you dont mind a few delays along the way and if you dont have to be at your destination exactly on time. Give it a try.

i think you are in the wrong century, in canada they have service like that
