what are the options if ur charged with hit and run .... it happened while parking .. was with my hubby( poor he .....he's been chrged fr not informing since he s the responsible party)
it was a mistake and damage is like for 1000$ my insurance is ready to pay .. i admitted it to the cops when they came for investigation ...i said i was scared to inform ... i handed ovr the noe which i had already written..
they said that its hit an drun as we did n inform ..now we have to appear in court ..m really scared ..like we r reputed ppl and i dont want any kind of mess ... we already have other trbl gng on in family and with kid .. work pressure ..i dnt know bad timings ..
we r planning to hire lawyer ..but can we get away just paying the fine for two charges ...
plz only seriuos answers ..and no comments on my english as im not american .....!!!!!

i have changed the master cylinder, the sevo unit, bled the brakes, adjusted up the back shoes and still the brake pedal is utter crap. please im at the end of my tether!!!!!

So i was recently driving and I had my ipod connected to a monster audio FM transmitter when it lost power and the music stopped... i examined it more closely and the cigarette outlet itself was very loose(something i had not noticed before).... so i made a mental note to check on that when I got back home.... I proceeded to put in a CD because i still wanted some music, and that played well for another 5-10 minutes when the car stereo shut off!!!
i was flabberghasted!

What is wierd is that the stereo doesn't turn on, or anything... but when i press the CD eject button it spat out my CD and then turned off again... now if i press the eject button, the screen just lights up blue (completely blank)


I think this is a fuse, but does anyone know where the fuses are? (im driving a 1997 Honda accord, 4dr)

every time i take the boat out the same thing happens engine boggs down and dies, and the prime is collapes, i undo the gas line and prime pops up and the engine starts to work again for a min. I have to keep undoing the gas line to make it work. friend said it was the thunderbolt ignition?

Police are under the executive branch of government, and government officials were always implied to be "people."

But now we have these Orwellian crap traffic cameras, taking pictures, and sending out tickets, regardless of who might have been behind the wheel. Heck, I got a slew of tickets in the mail for a vehicle I had sold years before. Had a cop stopped that vehicle, they would have straightened that out immediately by addressing the person behind the wheel.

I ask, should we all write our congresspersons at www.congress.org and request they put a stop to these foul machines?

While I respect traffic laws and will answer to a police officer, I have a very hard time answering to a machine.

I have been having an electrical problem. Bike won't start up because it is getting drained after riding for a few hours. It will jump start right up, then off to the dealer I go. Dealer keeps saying it is a loose ground. They won't show me where the problem is as they say i will void the warranty if I screw up the electonics by trying to fix myself. It is getting really frustrating, ruining my rides and only adding to the coffers of the dealer. Has anyone else had this problem or is there a Tech out there who may know? It does not appear to be the battery cables as they are making contact.
