My TomTom One has locked up and refuses to turn on. I solved this a while ago but can't remember how. I know it involved connecting to a computer. Hope somebody out there can help as I have a long trip tomorrow.

Is the battery charged?

If so there is a small reset button on the bottom, that solves all my problems

On the TomTom 710 there is a reset button at the back, where it connects to the holder, which you press with a pin to reset (it tells you to do this on TomToms website). I usually find this solves any problem, if not check on their website as its quite user friendly and should cover every model.

Depends on the model.. mine (910) does this - usually after I download something

Regardless of the model there is a reset button somewhere. On the 910 it is inside of the mounting hole. Hard to see but its there.

Do NOT push a pin into the mic. hole in front like I did.. (dumb) .

Try a combination of pushing the button, then pushing the on button or doing the reverse or pushing them both at the same time.

One of them will work.
