At idle it gets zero mpg of course. The answer would depend on what vehicle, what rpm it idles at, what engine it has, and the capacity of the fuel tank.
I can tell you I once found a stolen car that the person got spooked and ran from it, leaving it in park and running. When I found it 28 hours later it was still running and had over a half tank of fuel. Of course I have no idea if the tank was full when he stole it.
Added: an aside to taffscott1, READ the question. He asked how long it could idle, not the mileage it would get.

You might get a few days on a full tank. I got 4 days idle on my diesel during a winter storm black out.
