I've owned a '06 scion xB since Feb '07 and am making payments to Toyota Financial. I'm trying to get rid of it as fast as possible but I don't know how to do that (don't want to trade-in)? Do dealers buy cars back? or am I forced to sell privately (which I really don't want to waste the time with)? Does anyone have any tips, suggestions or options I could use?

Is it worth purchasing a kenwood KAC-7203 amplifier for my car, or is there osmething wrong with them. Every amp i seem to buy people have something bad to say about it.

I have just purchased a 2007 Dyna Super Glide Custom (FXDC). The front fork diamater was increased from 41mm to 49mm diameter in 2006. As a result many custom items, even those offered by the factory will only fit 2005 models and older. I specifically want a chrome headlight nacelle. The fork "center to center" spacing has changed along with the tube diameter so I can't just buy an older item and hone out the fork opening.

I am about to get insurance for my car and want to get legal protection included. The company I am about to purchase it from have said that it only covers accidents that are NOT my fault. Is this standard for all companies or am I being conned? Thanks

I bought a used truck from a dealer - and I am already having trouble with it. I want to find the person who owned it before me (one owner) and ask him about any known issues there may be with the truck.

This way, I can go to MY dealer and tell him the problems with the car which is under warrenty for the next 30 days.

Smooth, eh?

has dual tanks, the rear gauge works but when switched to the front it just reads empty, i assume its a bad ground wire, i checked at the sending unit on the tank any other suggestions or other ideas as to what it is?

Someone hit my car the other week and it will be going into the garage next week for assessment. I have a feeling it will be wrote off as it is only worth a couple of hundred quid.

If I decide to buy it back, does anyone know the process for getting it back on the road. I know obviously repairing the damage but I understand it has to be inspected. Is this just by a normal MOT garage or do you have to take it to one of the DVLA places where you take a kit car to be first registered.

Lately, my husband and I have been having the same trouble with our garage door openers. The keypad opener works just fine, but our remotes don't allow us to open the garage door unless we are within about 2 feet of the garage, whereas we used to be able to open it from the street as we were pulling into the driveway. Closing the garage door with the remote is not a problem.
Does anyone know why we would be having trouble with opening the garage door with both remotes.
PS, we changed the battery on one of them to see if that was the problem, but it didn't solve anything.

In August 2006 my car was rear-ended by another car. The driver of the other car begged me not to call the police because he had no insurance or license. He said he would pay the estimate of damage. I took my car to the dealership from which I bought it and they said it needed a new rear bumper and all that went with it for $958. The other driver agreed to make monthly $100 payments. He has made only three. I have called him over a dozen times, my calls are no-longer returned.

I want to take this to small claims, but I really have no "proof" of the accident. I did not call my ins. co., and because this is my only car and the dealership said it would fail inspection and was not safe to drive my two small children in, I had to have it repaired immediately.

I have the following: offender's name, address, cell phone number, place of employment, license plate, dealership list of work performed and cost.

Is this enough to merit any kind of case, or have I invited this result? Thanks

Every Volvo around this age seem to have burned out tail lights and issues. Is there a trick to keeping the bulbs from burning out and or shorting??? Any advice will help.

Hi! A year ago when I purchased a new vehicle I put my fiance on the loan as a co-borrower to help out her credit. I am now in the process of refinancing, but she currently has no income, so she would make the rate higher now, so I am leaving her off of the new loan. The question is...... will the payoff to the current bank show on her credit report as a payoff and look as though the car was simply paid for and not refinanced? Not sure how that would look on the credit report or affect her score... any info is appreciated!

I had a loan for a van in 2002. A truck ran a stop sign and crashed into me. The van never ran good after that. I continued to keep it, and payed the $337 a month until it began having more serious issues. I had spent nearly $1000 in repairs and then the van was still having BIG problems w/ transmission.
I had kept it for over two years.
I decided to contact the loan company and have them take it back!
By that time I had paid over $8, 000 for the van.
Once they repoed it they sold it and are charging me now over $7000 for the remainder of the loan and for the towing fees and fee for auction...
I had been sending $10 a month. Now they keep calling and wanting more. It is still drawing interist!!!
A friend had told me that there is nothing they can do, just stop paying all together!
Can they garnish my wages?
Any opinions?
I would file bankruptcy but, I really hate to.
Can they really come after me for the rest of this loan?

Any suggestions?
