The AC is cold and it is only blowing out of the floor and dash(top) front vents. It's still cold it just seems to be blocked somehow. I have been told about the vaccum lines or something. Is this something that I may be able to fix for cheap or do I need to take it to a shop. Thanks

Yesterday, my car battery died in a parking lot. Eventually, I was able to borrow a jump box and at least get my car home. Today, I went outside to start it and its dead again!

When I turn the ignition, there is a slight clicking noise- so I know its doing something? Was the jump box not good enough and do I need someone to give me a jump? Is there anything else it could be?? My car has been running fine, otherwise(though it is due for an oil change in about another 500 miles, as well as its 60,000 mile tune up)

If it helps, my car is a 2001 Ford Mustang.

Please Help!

from the driver side tire, have brand new pads and rotors, new struts, new axle on pass side, driver side axle is about 2 years old, calipers arent hanging up cuz i had car jacked up and wheel off and in drive to see if the pads were rubbing or locking up, nothing there, if i even drive it around the block and park it, theres a pretty decent amount of smoke that comes out from the driver tire, took the tire off while smoking and honestly couldnt pinpoint where the smoke was coming from, i had a couple people tell me they think its could possibly be the wheel bearing, the problem is theirs no noise whatsoever from the car when driving, not one bit, it drives smoothe, turns great, doesnt pull when stopping and stops awesome, i acutally took the pads and rotor of and recleaned them to make sure there was no grease left on them, but i just need any opinions i can get before i go spend 120 on a wheel bearing and hub, thanks, any and all help greatly appreciated!!!

I called up state farm to get car insurance on my el camino, and they want to inspect my car before they give me insurance. I have to have insurance before I can get a title and tag. How am I supposed to drive it down to the insurance place to get the insurance if I don't have insurance or a tag in the first place?

I have a 2006 Subaru Baja and I was trying to install a new/aftermarket stereo and instead of taking the time to wait to get a wiring harness I just cut the wires and spliced them in. The problems is when I cut the wires the interior illumination stopped working, like the reading lights and the light in the back. First I checked all the fuses and non were blown, then I found some one who had similar problem and just replaced the illumanation module near the fuse box so I did that but still the lights dont work. Then I checked the light to make sure they werent blown but they werent. Does anyone know what might be the problem. Please I need HELP!!

Just bought a 2006 Cobalt with 14K miles. The key can be pulled out of the ignition while car is being driven. (Even on the express way) Is this normal or should I get it checked out?...it's under warranty. Are ignition problems common on the 06 Cobalt?

I own a Dodge Dakota with 80k miles.

When I am driving, the oil preassure guage goes slightly past the "high" level.

But at a light or a stop sign, the oil preassure drops down to normal.

What is the cause of this?

Is it bad?

Could this be causeing me to burn much more gas?

What could be wrong with it?

What can I do to fix it?

I am installing a 2002 engine in our 1997 Sunfire. I have the complete wrecked 02 for a donor car, so I have the engine harness and all parts needed. I know that I have to change out the engine computer and harness, but would like to know if I can stop short of changing out the whole dash harness to accept it.

My question is, can anyone ID what the pin locations on the master passthruogh connector under the airbox are. The block has a number and letter code to id wire location, so I assume there must be a master key to read these. There are about four wires that are not the same color from the 02 to the 97, and the 97 has one wire missing. The spot is there but no wire. I would like to compare what the differences in them are before I go and cange dashes also. I have searched online with no luck and bought the haynes manual, it does not id the passsthrough block. I have also stopped by a couple of dealers and asked but left empty handed.

Thanks, Dave
