A 2002 Camaro Z28 with an 5.7 liter LSI 305 HP engine?

I'm looking to get an 8-cylinder sports car, but I hope that it's gas mileage is not a bad 18 MPG for the highway. I hope it's at least 25 MPG for the highway or so.

Once in a while on my 1987 Suburban, one of the rear drums sticks when I release the parking brake. If I stop the vehicle and press the parking brake down, then release it again, the brake almost always comes free. But it is annoying and the vehicle shakes/vibrates when the brake is stuck, which can't be good. I would think there is some kind of spray that wouldnt harm the brake parts...or could the problem lie in the parking brake cable itself?? Maybe that needs to be sprayed/adjusted... Your answers, as always, are greatly appreciated..

I feel just awful. I bumped into a truck that was parked in back of me in the parking lot of my apartment complex this morning. I waited around for awhile hopeing someone would come out but no one did. It was pouring rain and I couldn't leave a note. I live in a big complex and have no idea whose car it was. I know that I shouldn't have left, but I had no way of contacting this person. I'm going back this afternoon to try and figure out who it was - the damage wasn't real bad, so I'm hopeing i can work something out with them. I'm just so worried that I'm going to get into some serious trouble over a little dent. Has anyone been in a similair situation? Is it still a hit and run if you attempt to find them after the fact?

Please don't tell me what i did was wrong - i know that. I am just really panicky right now - need some advice.

But this what the mechanic says is the reason my Chevy Tracker is running hot. That and some worn hoses. Is this possible? If it is how much should it cost to fix? I don't want to pull money from my insurance payment If this won't fix the problem.

My car has plastic headlight lenses. They are older and "foggy". I have heard that rather than replacing them (they are expensive), I can take them apart and polish them clear again, resulting in better lighting at night. What should I use to do this? Would a standard car polishing compund be best?

Back in the 70s people were more inclined to purchase vehicles with better mpg due to rising gas prices. What has happened since then? Why have people decided that they need a 3 ton vehicle to drive one person around? Only an idiot would utter a sentence beginging with, "It cost me ___ to fill up my SUV". So? How is a person supposed to reply to this statement: At least you don't drive a Sherman tank; I don't care how little gas mileage your vehicle gets; You sound like a smoker complaining about the high cost of cigarettes; Well, buy some stock in an oil company, duh; Basically, you're stupid; In ten years you could have saved tens of thousands of dollars by improving your mileage, but you are too dumb; Have you checked your tire inflation, air filter, spark plugs lately; Maybe you should carpool, duh.

Its an Eldorado. It has the 500 cubic inch engine with front wheel drive.. its has an antique plate so it doesnt need to get inspected. I already have straight duel exhaust with just flowmaster mufflers. I dont want to have to rip apart the engine to put a CAM in or anything like that. Is there smog stuff to take off or a new carburator or some things i can take off? It does have A/C. It works so i dont want to take anything out with that. I do unplug that when its not roasting out so it doesnt have to work as hard. Also it seems to ping really bad lately when it warms up. The timing is ok and im using premium fuel.

I have a 85 ninja zx900 and I keep melting cdi boxes. I think I found the problem with a inop shorted tach but I am afraid to run the bike as the cdi box is getting pretty warm. I cut the wire that runs to the tach and it runs good, but the cdi still gets warm. Has anybody had a problem like this B4 with a shorted tach? Maybe a bad coil when hot? The resistance of the primary and secondary on both coils is within specs so I don't think the coils are bad.

When I stepped on the brake on downhill, brake is working fine. Suddenly, the brake slipped and I am rolling downhill fast. When I got at the bottom, I tried the brake again. It's working fine. Happened to me about 5 times on different instances. Is this something to do with ABS? I'm driving a Honda Civic Dimension. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi there
Does anyone know if you have to be a rail user to park the car in South West train stations' car parks? Surely they can't go round asking all drivers??

cars spend a lot of time burning gas at stop signs with no right turns allowed on red lights. If it is safeto turn you should be allowed. This will save a lot of gas.
