I have an '01 1500 4X4 with a 5.9L and my tank is 26 gallons. The most accurate way is to run it empty then fill it up, I guess. I seem remember reading that it also comes in 34 gallons. Considering the gas mileage, I'd be surprised if Dodge used a tank smaller than 26.

These trucks came with either a 26 gallon or a 35 gallon tank, if its a regular cab short bed then I would think you would have the smaller of the 2, a quad cab long bed would have the larger tank
