We bought a 97 Jetta and have had nothing but problems since. The first day we actually drove it, it died in the carwash, found out the distributor cap needed replaced because one clip was missing. A few days later, it completely wouldn't start. We bought a new battery for it and my fiance drove it once more. He drove it on a rainy day and it died on him. He had someone jump it to get it home and since it hasn't started. He's tried jumping it and it does nothing. We took the battery in and they say it's good. When we go to start it, on the dash, where it lights up for Drive, Reverse, etc, that lights up but that's it and it makes a clicking noise underneath the shifter, which we think is wehre the fuse box is. Any suggestions???? By the way, we have bought a new distributor cap but haven't put on yet, because we've came into other problems.

I am installing a cd player into a 95 grand prix se. I have to hardwire the cd player in as the factory harness was cut off. I have all the power hooked up correctly, but I have no sound from my speakers. I got sound to come out of the speakers one time by switching the headlights on and off a few times, but that blew a fuse. Any suggestions.

I mean, there are so many ways today, but none of them seem to give you the better end of things. Auctions don't work for the public, particularly because you can't get a good deal on a popular car because it will be bid to its real value. Government auctions also aren't the best deals in town. Buying used cars from dealers also seems tricky, especially when there are the too good to be true deals and CARFAX is a joke(supposedly). Up till now, I think buying from an independent seller is the best choice. What do you guys think? I'm in the market for a used car, since I'm broker than Zoidberg, and I'm kinda leaning toward a vette'(but they have high resale values) or a S2000. How would you buy a used car(assuming you're poorer than a red lobster doctor)? Gracias!

Im in school so I dont have money to get a new car but I have nice subs and a powerful amp, and there are no after-market radios that i know of fit in the 96' taurus. Will their be RCA port on the reciever? If not can i buy a converter of some sort that will make an RCA port, so i may trigger my amp via the radio? Thank you!

I am a 30 years old civil engineer. But I'm thinking about going to flight school and being a professional pilot.

Do you think it's too risky to do it?
I feel like being a pilot is just a dream, not reality.

I really wonder
1. Am I too old to change my job?
2. Would I be hired? (ex.Quantas or Virgin blue or something)
Ain't I too old to be a new pilot?

II am installing a cd player into a 95 grand prix se. I have to hardwire the cd player in as the factory harness was cut off. I have all the power hooked up correctly, but I have no sound from my speakers. I used a AA battery to match wire pairs to speakers. My cd player has 4 pairs of wires for speakers, a remote wire, a ground, a constant 12v and switched 12v wire. My car has 4 pairs of wires for the speakers, an illumination and dimmer wire. It also has 2 dark green wires, one of which I've been told is a speaker lead. It has a few other wires that I've been told wont be used for an aftermarket install. Do I need to hook this speaker lead wire up to anything?

If superman was walking across the road and I didn't see him until I hit him and wrapped my bumper around him, would it be a crime on my part even though there is no way possible that I could have hurt superman (he IS superman . . .)?

Does it make any difference if he had been on a crosswalk?
