If the flasher didn't fix it then it is either the turn signal switch or the hazard switch.

ok I had this difficulty with my 1996 ford ranger and have looked and located 25 distinctive solutions as to what the subject might desire to be. My ranger has a 4 cylinder motor 5 velocity tranny. All of my lights labored parking lights, tail lights, working lights and so on.. even with the undeniable fact that throughout this cas neither turning indicators or hazzards labored. So first for sure verify FUSES (#21) & (#22) are the blinkers and hazzards. merely because of the fact there no longer blown doesn t recommend there s no longer a topic there take a attempt meter and notice if capacity is attending to the fuses. If no longer the next step is going to be to take the panel below the steerage wheel off it as quickly as the plastic panel is off then you definately might desire to take off the metallic panel the lies below the plastic panel as quickly as all it extremely is achieved you will possibly be able to desire to look below there like liteatorly get your head up below the sprint with a flash mild and stumble on the (turn sign RELAY) it extremely is going to ethier be (BLUE & sq.) or (SILVER & around) if this relay isn t clicking it s no longer establishing an closeting different words no longer working it s 5 funds at your interior of reach areas save and not a huge deal to alter merely unsnapping a clip and snapping interior the hot one. in case you are attempting this and not something variations is the (MULITI function change) it extremely is what controls your wipers brights and so on.. If none of those are working it s possibly the change and not the relay which works from being a 5 dollar relay to a ninety dollar change. And the removing of the precise of the steerage wheel column to interchange and attach. And in case you have the truck under pressure out for a trailer plug I tremendously propose if not one of the above works substitute the plug and run new cord to the hot plug extra then possibly it s shorting and inflicting the truck to short the hazzards, blinkers or the two. desire this helped reliable good fortune

Sorry about your Intrepid (these are good cars). Try checking the switch. If this isn't the problem, you might have a bad body control module. Don't feel bad. I've been working on cars for a long time and I have to defer most electrical issues to a mechanic. The wiring is multiplexed in most cars ten years old and newer and are beyond the scope of the home mechanic.

The turn signal and hazard flashers are two different ones...
Check bulbs, check fuses, and check to make sure the hazard switch isn't pulled out or broken. I had a buick that did that, and the hazard switch was not disengaged all the way...

Common problem is the multi-function switch. Used to be called the turn signal switch. Good luck.

There are TWO.
One flasher, and one relay.
Try replacing the other one.
