Help just put in a new motor (used) in a 1997 eclipse the motor started and ran for a few minutes then when we shut it off it will not start for anything the timing is correct the spark plugs are not fouled out the car has a full tank of gas it will spin over but just wont catch could the computer be bad?

my clutch pedal became real spongy, and doesnt have alot of spring left to it. i read some articles and after looking under my clutch pedal, i determined that my clutch master cylinder was shot. I could see the fluid leaking from the seals.

So when i went to the dealership to order the clutch master cylinder, then recommended that i replace the slave as well ( due to the part only costing 20 bucks.

This is my understanding of how it works

1) Driver pushes down the clutch pedal
2) The Clutch Master Cylinder gets pressed wich forces the hydraulic liquid to move in the hard line between the Clutch Master Cylinder and the Clutch Sladve Cylinder.

I understand that when the clutch is pushed in, it separates the plates, but what role does the clutch slave cylinder serve?

I have a good article on replacing the clutch master cylinder but replacing the clutch slave cylinder i am clueless.

Sometimes when I drive at an excess of 60mph my car seems to start vibrating until I come to a complete stop, I even feel it as im applying the breaks on my car. The problem is it doesnt do it all the time. What gives?

...are you responsible for paying for the repairs? Because it kinda, um, happened to me today. The gas station manager on duty said he'd be asking me for a few hundred dollars, or else would take it to my insurance, which "would jack it up a lot more," in his words. I know I was a bonehead, but money-wise, I just want to make sure I'm responsible before I shell out.

Ok heres my question.
In traffic and your in 3rd gear going 40mph and you clutch then shift it into neutral and apply brake and slow down to 8mph. How do I put it back into gear and im still in neutral.

2nd question.
in manual transmission do i brake first and then put it into neutral or put it into neutral and then brake. which one is it?

your eyes are on the road more when your on the phone than anything. who tries to tune the radio while their on the phone, read the paper when your on the phone. bend over the seat to yell at their kids, talk to ANYONE in the car and make eye contact. wouldnt it be safer to not do anything at all, not even blink when you drive, because an accident can happen in a blink right?
