There may be a problem with one of the ignition wires or the mechanic may have gotten the wires crossed. It's also possible that during the installation the mechanic may have knocked one of the plugs electrodes and changed the gap. Take it back and tell the mechanic about the problem, he will be able to fix it. Good luck

Like everyone else says.. something got knocked off he didn't notice or I've had issues sometimes when I've changed spark plugs but not the plug wires and have the wires become bad from being moved around....

I vote for an open spark plug lead. Check to make sure that all of the leads are solidly attached to the plugs and the distributor. If that doesn't fix it, take it back to the mechanic.

I think your mechanic may have missed something, got a wire on wrong etc. Ask him to check it out. If he won't or gives you the run around....go to another shop...let them fix it...give first mechanic the bill.

it is also possible he forgot to connect a vacuum line or knocked one off by accident. a vacuum leek will cause a rough idle.
