I like the retro looks that Ford, GM, and Chrysler are attempting. But then I was a teenager when the cars they are emulating were brand new. However I think the Mustang, while exciting at first, has gotten boring now. I think Ford went too far in copying the Mustang of the 70's. The new Dodge Challenger will probably be the same way....exciting at release but dated a year afterwards. I've not seen the new Camaro except in pictures and while they tried to capture the look of the 1969 Camaro they also tried to update it's styling to make it a modern version of a classic design. It will sell provided Chevrolet doesn't screw it up by charging way too much money. However knowing GM's past performance in this arena the car will be underpowered at first for way too much money. In a year or so Chevy will get the power where is should be but by then the market wrote the car off because of being overpriced and underpowered and it will be discontinued with the excuse that "it didn't sell well". Then Chevy will come out with another family/rental sedan and wonder why Toyota is now the best selling car in the world.

Sorry, I merely ought to declare it- in case you're making use of a Camaro the only view you will probable get of a Mustang is from the rear. So needless to say it sounds as though grotesque to a Camaro proprietor! it rather is quite a coastline understanding the only way that the style of individual will see the front view is the two in a carpark or for the jiffy it takes to get surpassed. this is the way I see it- The Camaro front end appears like it merely ate a eco-friendly persimmon, from the factor it sounds as though like some one dropped a scrap magnet on it, having under no circumstances considered one from the rear long sufficient to sort an opinion- who cares. yet what do you anticipate once you enable Rodger Rabbit have a seat in the layout studio. a minimum of the Mustang isn't an escaped Toon! yet some love the look of the Camaro, and to aid you recognize the actuality i'm grateful there are people who do. It merely facilitates the Mustangs look greater advantageous.

I too saw it at the Javits center and it definitely looks cool! Maybe it was the color combo I have picture on my son's phone its a red/orange conv with a black stripe running down the hood. Reminiscent of the old ones makes the guys who sold their originals want to run right out and buy new. But probably like the Mustang, the interior will be all plastic, & cheap looking. I heard it will be out late next year.
The pic that patios shared makes it look real boring! But the ragtop definately was not! It was HOT!

I'll gladly take it over the Camaro's from 1982-02 but I still love the 1967-81 Camaro's.

I'm not impresed with it as it looks in pictures The original 1967was much better. But I wasn't impressed with the front end of the latest Mustang even though I liked the 1967 front end that it resembles. I'll wait and see the real life Camero

I think the look is really outdated, due to the fact that Ford did have sort of the same idea on the design. But all in all, the over all look is nice and stylish, just wish myself, that Chevy had came with the idea first and foremost.

It is really nice looking but had some outdated features, and some updated features. Chevrolet said they had to change some of the concept of it.
