I've read the manual, and there seems to be conflicting directions on this. I've got some Sta-bil to condition the gas. Also, if I don't have to drain it of gas, how much gas should I put in to condition?
Thanks in advance.

I moved two years ago to support my newborn after finding out my girlfriend was pregnant. I left behind my old car and my family put it in my brothers name so I've been stuck without a vehicle. I've been working at my current job for 6 months and management said it is possible to pay any debts or loans by having it taken out of my checks. I don't plan on leaving the company at all and plan on living up here. I've tried for an auto loan but was denied because of my bank balance (after fixing my fiancee's car and her mother's truck because they were out of work and were on HUD). Is it possible to get an auto loan in this manner? At work, management said they'd need the necessary paperwork to have it directly taken out, but I'm not quite sure if dealerships would allow such payments- since its not directly through a bank. Is this method even possible?

The maximum loan i'm thinking of getting is $5000. I've talked with several dealers about downpayments and those I can easily handle.

I got into a wreck a few weeks ago. The guy I hit locked his brakes up, going approx. 10 mph due to him not paying attention to the road. At the scene, the guy I hit chose not to notify the police, and that I could pay for his bumper out of pocket. About a week later, after we have both popped our pieces back into place, he now says there is minor damage to the bottom of his trunk, estimated at $2,000. In so doing, NOW he wants a police report in order to notify the insurance. Do I refuse and just give him the money for the bumper like I said I would? Also, he had a TV mounted in his dash that was playing. He verbally told two of our friends that he "felt bad b/c he was watching the TV when the accident happened." Does he have a case or what? I think not b/c how do I know that trunk damage was not already there?

If you went online and filled out a finance application for one dealership, and then went in person to another dealership a couple of hours later and filled out one in person, what would happen? Can you fill out 2 different ones to see which one goes through?

I have an old military landrover which is currently road tax exempt due to its age. Trouble is, the engine type is shown as petrol on the registration document but it's actually a diesel. Originally it would have been a petrol engine but the diesel was already in when I bought it. If I declare this to the DVLA will I have to start paying tax?
