Technically, no time at all. This is why Formula One teams drain the tank at the end of the day, even if they're driving again in the morning (yes, they use standard pump fuel, just like you or I could buy.) However, the rate of degradation - and the amount of degradation over time - differs depending on the brand of fuel, and what additives they use to stabilize it.

About 3 to 6 months , depending on temp.High temp degrades it faster. If you add a stabilizer it go 6 to 8 months.

i own a shop and in two to three months it will go bad,unless you add a can of sta-bil in it,this keeps it in good condition for a lot longer but if it sat all winter or anything without any additives to it, this can cause it not to be usable anymore,good luck i hope this helps.

if you're going to store your vehicle over time, use a gas stabilizer. see autozone for the best advice
