Its a 95 ford aerostar and the door chime is somewhere near the gas pedal and is starting to get annoying. Is there someway to break this thing so it \never goes off again?

I found the last one up behind the instrument cluster. Sounded like it was coming from the kick panel. If you take the dash cover of you should find it.Then choke it

I would recommend against it though, unless you have a really loose door. The same chime also warns you of leaving your headlights on, and the center interior light, if left on overnight, could drain the battery, and a door ajar can do that.

Hunt it down and kill it! With it "chiming" you should be able to find it and unplug it. Usually they just plug into the wiring harness or in some cases the fuse panel on older cars/trucks/vans.
