The Japanese cars offer very good value for money in their earlier years but have you noticed the significant drop in ratio in older vehicles?

Even in Japan owners are discouraged, by increasing taxes, from keeping a car more than three years old.

A 10-year old Japanese car requires pampering and the parts are darn expensive.

European cars on the other hand keep on going. I think the same applies to American cars
