Does a 2004 Chevy avalanche with traction control has electronic stability control or could it be installed?

Could you first tell me the difference between traction control (ABS) or stability control? From what i understand..stability control, is when a vehicle mass is more than is suggested.. Say the stability light comes on, when you turn a sharp curve with excessive rpms, then the light comes on....If you could explain what you are asking for and why, It would be a great help
