no firing in sparkplugs. where does the condensor hook up at and is it neg or pos, where does the wiring connect to on battery from condensor

I finally found the fuse that was applicable, and replaced it, but no sooner did I do that, it happened again. What does this mean, and what do I need to do on my end to fix this. Help!!!!!

on my 1990 vanagon the radiator fan only comes on high speed when it gets to hot, the low speed never comes on. I replaced the resistor, that was not it. The low speed comes on when t-stat plug is jumped. whats the problem

I never trust the people I'm buying from. Since I don't have anyone to go with me to look at a car before I buy it, I need to know what to look for. I'm looking @ 2 Dodge Shadow's. I've had one before and they last forever (until a family member wrecks in it).

The spark plug shot out of my 2000 Mazda, I asked the mechanic to use a heli-coil and he told me that you could not use one on an aluminum head that I would need to replace the head to the tune 2500. Is that true?

I have a 97 eclipse and the check engine light keeps coming on. It said the IAT sensor, so I replaced it and reset the light. I ended up resetting the light two more times and just replacing the sensor thinking it may have been a bad sensor. Still having the same problem code come up. I looked at the wires, but they looked good. Can anyone tell me how many volts are supposed to go into the sensor or what other issue there may be? I do not have a mass air flow sensor. Everyone keeps saying that, but I don't have one.

I mostly drive in freeway traffic while commuting. I consider myself a good driver, by that I mean I slowly and gently apply my brakes early enough so I dont need to slam them and drive at speed limit or a little higher. The dealer is asking $480 for all four, but I want to wait until I can pay cash, rather than charging them on a credit card.

I have a 1991 Chevy Caprice and whenever I drive long distances my service engine light will come on. The last couple of times this has done that I will not be able to crank the car again for a couple of days. I called a mechanic and he said that the EGR valve could be the problem. Another said the catalyctic converter b/c of how rich the exhaust was. What is the problem??

I am using 5W-20 as prescribed on the oil cap, but now want to use 0W-20, or 0W-30 synthetic. Any chance of anything not being properly lubricated? The car was bought new and now has 55K on it, and has had Amsoil synthetic in it for the last 2 years.

It only do this when I'm in natural or at a stop light. It vibrate to where I can feel it on the steering wheel. Can a bad motor mount cause this?

It just quit one day, put on new fuel pressure regulator, new crank position sensor,got it started & drove about 5 miles & quit again.Got started drove it home. wouldn`t start again, got it started 2 weeks later, fired right up! Drove perfect , drove about 5 miles, killed it ,won`t start, I put in a new battery which it needed anyway, still nothing. I`m fairly intelligent on auto`s , I have worked on them all my life, but this has me stumped. Is something heating up & breaking down? (coil pack) I don`t think it`s the fuel pump because it runs great when it runs at all.
I hate to keep putting on parts that don`t solve the problem. Any help would be very much appreciated! Oh yeah by the way it`s a 4cyl 2.0 DOHC.

I was charged with a dwi to boot. The insurance company has got the total up to around 19,000.00. so im asuming this will definatly grow.

details, the person i hit left the scene of the crime. As he was probably drinking too. and secondly i have pictures proving his car is fine even though his insurance agency has called it totalled..........so basically am i screwed? or is it worth dishing out another 5k to fight. being that ive dished out about 5k so far for my d.w.i.
